For those familiar with tweeting, here are some tips to get the most out of @GEICO_Service.
- Don't tweet any personal information. - Twitter is public, so we recommend Direct Messaging (DM) us on Twitter, or logging in to the policyholder service center to contact us. Remember, we need to follow each other to exchange DMs.
- Should I tweet? - For time sensitive or complex insurance issues related to your policy, we still recommend calling us 24/7 at 1-800-861-8380.
- How do you respond? - If the question is related to your policy, we'll follow and @message you asking for your name, state and phone number via DM. If it's just a simple insurance question or comment, we'll just reply to your tweet. You should expect a follow up within 1 to 2 days.
