GEICO Names Rich Guertin Vice President

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 26, 2007 - GEICO recently named Richard Guertin of Beltsville, Md., vice president of Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO), with responsibility for business process reviews at the company's headquarters in Chevy Chase, Md.

Guertin joined GEICO in 2003, after working for the Hartford Insurance Company where he was responsible for personal lines agency and field operations for the AARP insurance program.

Guertin has a B.S. in business administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Penn.
