GEICO Honors Tim Hession and Ken Lalia With Corporate Quality Award

FORT WASHINGTON, Md., May 3, 2007 - GEICO honored Tim Hession of Fort Washington, Md., and Ken Lalia of Stony Brook, N.Y., with a Corporate Quality Award during special ceremonies last week in Washington, D.C.

The two GEICO associates accepted a Corporate Quality Award on behalf of their team which helped develop a training module for all auto damage adjusters companywide, earning the award for Innovation.

Hession has worked at GEICO for 12 years at its home office in Chevy Chase, Md. He is currently an auto damage supervisor. Upon receiving the award he said, "Although the project required hard work, I believe that all the team members had fun making the training module. I am truly honored to accept this award on behalf of the team."

Lalia has worked at GEICO for 25 years and is an auto damage manager at GEICO's Woodbury, N.Y., office location. He said, "I was very excited and honored to learn that we won such a prestigious award."
