MACON, Ga., July 2, 2007 - GEICO's board of directors recently announced that John Little of Warner Robins, Ga., was elected assistant vice president with responsibility for GEICO's centralized services division out of the company's Macon, Ga. regional center. Since 2003, Little has served as the liability director for GEICO in Macon.
Little will now oversee GEICO's centralized services division which manages glass claims, emergency road service, towing services, accounts receivable, mechanical breakdown, salvage handling, and 24-hour sales, service and claims.
"I am excited to have been given this opportunity to work with the centralized service teams," Little said of his new opportunity. "I look forward to working with this diverse and critically vital team as we service our customers, both internal and external, country wide. The centralized services functions have evolved and expanded over the years as GEICO continues to look for ways to add value for customers and I am looking forward to our services evolving and expanding even more."
Originally from Baltimore, Md., Little started his GEICO career in 1983 as a mail clerk at GEICO's headquarters in Washington, D.C. In 1985, he worked in claims in the company's San Diego office and later returned to the home office as a telephone adjuster.
In 1992, Little was named a claim supervisor in Fredericksburg, Va., then moved to GEICO's Dallas operations in 1996, where he became a manager. Little served as a manager at the Lakeland, Fla., office in 1999 and then became a performance review director in claims home office in 2002.
He holds a business degree from Mary Washington College and the Claims Law designation.
