GEICO opens new office in Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa., June 2, 2008 - Kathleen McGuigan, GEICO field representative, recently opened a new office at 1745 North Keyser Ave. in Scranton, Pa., across from the Keyser Oak Shopping Center, to serve local residents with their insurance needs for auto, motorcycle, home, boat and other insurance coverages.

"We are really looking forward to serving the residents of Scranton," said McGuigan. "It's our job to provide the best possible service to the community. A lot of people know us through our advertising. We also want them to know us by the personal service we offer."

McGuigan and her staff have more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She is an active member of the Scranton community and is currently a Scranton School District Board member.
