Bikers for Tykes Rally revs up donations for Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughters

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Sept. 2, 2008 – Get ready bikers and grab your helmets! GEICO Motorcycle is holding the 3rd Annual Bikers for Tykes Motorcycle Rally presented by Liberty Tax at KOA Kampground in Virginia Beach, Va., on Sept. 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visit www.bikersfortykes.org for the full schedule.

Rock fans can enjoy a lineup of artists including local band, Butter, and country recording artist Craig Morgan who will perform some of his hits including, "International Harvester." For tickets to either show, log on to www.ticketmaster.com.

Featured throughout the two-day event will be Kane "Insane" Friesen freestyle stunt shows, a best bike contest, a tattoo contest, 50/50 raffle, racer celebrities, children's activities, exhibitors, and vendors. On Sunday, Sept. 7, a Johnny Pag "Chopper" will be raffled off and bikers can participate in a ride from Bayside Harley in Portsmouth, Va. to the KOA site.

All proceeds will benefit Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD), which serves the medical and surgical needs of children throughout Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and northeastern North Carolina.
