GEICO's Team Gecko® goes the extra mile for Mothers Against Drunk Driving

POWAY, Calif., Sept. 16, 2009 – GEICO associates will be out in force on Team Gecko Saturday, Sept. 19, to support Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Family and friends will join GEICO's Team Gecko in the annual 5k non-competitive MADD Walk in Point Loma at Liberty Station from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Team Gecko's 30 walkers have set a goal to raise $12,500 for their 2009 contribution. GEICO will also have a booth and free giveaways for participants. The GEICO Gecko will be there to help motivate walkers.
