GEICO opens a new office in Duluth

DULUTH, Ga., May 17, 2010GEICO recently opened a new office at 9775 Medlock Bridge Rd., Duluth, to serve residents with their insurance needs for auto, motorcycle, home, boat and other insurance coverage.

"As someone who truly enjoys helping people, I am really looking forward to serving the residents of Duluth," said Jim Somers, the GEICO field representative who heads the new office. "It’s our job to provide the best possible service to the community. A lot of people know us through our advertising.  We also want them to know us by the personal service we offer."

With over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, Somers and his staff, Randy Westfall, Nell Zach, Julie Somers and Taylor Best, look forward to growing this GEICO agency and assisting Duluth community members. Somers’ current community involvement includes serving as the Director of Community Service for the Rotary Club of Johns Creek North Fulton and being a member of Northpoint Community Church. Somers is dedicated to assisting customers, explaining that, "Anytime someone says thank you for spending the time and helping them, it just reassures me that I am doing the right thing."
