SCRANTON, Pa., July 21, 2010 – The GEICO Gecko and his pal Kathleen McGuigan, GEICO’s field representative in Scranton, Pa., will be helping raffle off a 2010 Kymco Super 8 scooter during the July 23–25 summer festival. McGuigan donated the scooter for the raffle to benefit St. Joseph’s Center and their auxiliary.
Today, a recognized leader in the care of people with special needs, St. Joseph’s offers outpatient therapy, in-home and community-based assistance, adult day programs, and expanded residential services for both children and adults.
The summer festival will be held at Marywood University, and the winner of the GEICO scooter will be announced at the raffle drawing there on Sunday, July 25th.
