GEICO to sponsor Smithsonian's Nature's Best Photography Awards Exhibition

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 6, 2011 – The prestigious Nature’s Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards were announced on May 3, at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. The exhibition will be on display from April through September.

"More than 20,000 images were submitted by photographers in 56 countries for this extraordinary exhibition," said Bill Roberts, GEICO executive vice president. "We are very pleased to serve as the presenting sponsor."

Named in memory of Windland Smith Rice, an accomplished nature photographer and conservation advocate, Nature’s Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards recognizes and celebrates the creative talents of nature photographers of all ages, cultures and experience through a prestigious annual photography competition.
