GEICO's Buffalo office sells its millionth policy

BUFFALO, N.Y., July 25, 2012GEICO’s Buffalo office reached a significant milestone earlier this month, selling its one-millionth policy. Associates in the company’s Buffalo regional operation, which includes an office in Marlton, N.J., will celebrate the achievement in August.

“We want to give a special thanks to all of our associates in Buffalo and Marlton for their dedication to growing GEICO,” said Kirk La, assistant vice president of underwriting for the company’s Buffalo regional operation. “We’re not stopping at just one million; we’re really looking forward to providing affordable coverage and outstanding service to more and more customers in the Northeast and in New Jersey.”

GEICO’s Buffalo regional operation has primary responsibility for the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and New Jersey. GEICO opened a Buffalo office in early 2004 and moved to its current facility in late 2006.
