Washington, D.C., July 25, 2012 – GEICO has redesigned its teen safe driving website, www.geicoteendriving.com, to be mobile-friendly, so parents and their teens can visit the site anytime and anywhere on their mobile device…but definitely not when they’re driving.
Although this information is easily accessible, GEICO reminds teens and parents about the dangers of distracted driving and not to use their cellphones to visit the site or use any mobile devices while driving.
Teens can view safe driving and crash test videos at www.geicoteendriving.com. They can also test their driving knowledge by taking the crash facts quiz. For example, the quiz asks which roads are the most dangerous for teens. The answer: Rural roads. Viewers can also learn about distracted driving, impaired driving and teen driving laws in their state from the site.
GEICO safety materials can be downloaded and printed from the site’s auto safety library. For more information about how to keep teens safe on the roads, please visit www.geicoteendriving.com.
