Registering Your Vehicle
If the vehicle was purchased from a New Hampshire dealer, take the blue town clerk's copy of the Title Application, along with proof-of-residency, to the town or city where you reside in order to register the vehicle.
If the vehicle was purchased through a private sale and is a titled vehicle (1989 or newer), take the properly assigned title, along with proof-of-residency, to the town or city office where you reside in order to register the vehicle.

All first time New Hampshire license applicants holding visas, permanent resident cards, refugees, asylees and employment authorizations cards (EAD), must apply at the DMV location in Concord, New Hampshire.
