GEICO names David Hodge assistant vice president of Buffalo claims operation
BUFFALO, N.Y., August 15, 2013 – David Hodge has been named assistant vice president of claims for GEICO's Buffalo regional office. Hodge previously served as the liability director of GEICO's Virginia Beach, Va., regional operations.
"David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position," said GEICO senior vice president Seth Ingall. "He is ready and able to successfully take on the challenge of regional claims management."
Hodge joined GEICO as an Emerging Leader at the company's Woodbury, N.Y., regional office in 2003. He transitioned to the Buffalo office in 2005, where he served in a number of rotational positions including service manager, sales manager and CSR manager. In 2009, Hodge completed the executive assistant program and a year later, he was promoted to liability director in the Virginia Beach regional office.
Hodge graduated from Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in marketing and international business. He succeeded Ryan West as assistant vice president with responsibility for claims operations in New Jersey and the New England states when West was named vice president of claims home office.
