Wynnewood's Rob Vahey named GEICO Insurance Agency sales leader
WYNNEWOOD, Pa., June 19, 2014 – Rob Vahey of Philadelphia was named GEICO's 2013 outstanding sales leader in homeowners, renters and condo policy sales with the GEICO Insurance Agency. Vahey's GEICO local office at 333 E. Lancaster Avenue, Suite B, in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, ranked number one in the country among GEICO's more than 150 field offices across the country.
"This award is a testament to the great work our team does meeting the needs of our customers who are able to maximize their savings by bundling homeowners, condo or renters insurance with their auto policies," Vahey said. "We emphasize a personal, hands-on approach to figuring out what kind of policy is appropriate for each customer, and that is what has made our team so successful."
Vahey has more than 24 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry, including the last six years with GEICO. He and his staff of 10 full-time team members serve the greater Philadelphia area and are actively involved with community organizations such as Alex's Lemonade Stand, Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
Vahey's list of GEICO accomplishments includes being named top sales leader for homeowners in 2008, first place in national sales in 2009, outstanding sales leader in homeowners, renters and condo policies sales in 2010 and field representative of the year in 2011.
