GEICO names Angela Rinella assistant vice president of regional claims in Fredericksburg, Va.

LAKELAND, Fla., June 30, 2014 – Angela Rinella of Fishhawk, Florida, was recently named assistant vice president of regional claims operations at GEICO's office in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She previously served as liability director in GEICO's Lakeland, Florida, regional office.

Rinella began her career at GEICO in 2002, as a telephone claim representative in the company's Woodbury regional office. In 2004, she was part of the team that opened GEICO's regional office in Buffalo. She helped to establish Buffalo's claims department in 2005 and later served in several management positions.

In 2009, Rinella completed GEICO's Management Seminar and, a year later, became Lakeland's liability director. Rinella holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. She succeeds Jeremy Connor, who will take on responsibility for GEICO's claims operations in Lakeland.
