WASHINGTON, D.C., June 25, 2014 – Michelle Trindade has been promoted to vice president of GEICO's competitive advantage leadership group located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Trindade previously served as assistant vice president of underwriting in GEICO's Fredericksburg, Virginia, office.
In her new position, Trindade will be responsible for business process reviews as well as developing and implementing processes that improve GEICO's quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
Trindade started at GEICO in 1997 in sales and transferred to service a year later where she became a sales manager in 2001. She was named a sales director in 2004.
Applying her experience in both areas, Trindade became a sales and service director in 2006 and then moved to the competitive advantage group. Demonstrating her dedication to innovation, she championed a project to improve GEICO's sales process with the competitive advantage leadership group.
