GEICO military bike tour starts March 6 in Daytona

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 5, 2015 – The GEICO military bike tour will roll into Daytona Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Fla., on March 6, with a roaring tribute to U.S. armed forces and military personnel.

The tour will hit military and motorcycle events across the country, many of which benefit military centric charities like the USO. The tour will feature a wide range of promotional activities geared for participants. There will be fun and excitement, a roaming Gecko, prizes, games and giveaways for motorcycle fans as well as a focus on motorcycle road and highway safety.

Designed by Paul Teutul, Jr., from the hit television show "American Chopper," the custom built GEICO military tribute bike and the GEICO Gecko bike will be on display at Daytona Bike Week along with #13 GEICO NASCAR driven by Casey Mears. At Destination Daytona and Beach Street, the Gecko will be out and about mingling with motorcycle fans.
