GEICO urges Texas, Oklahoma customers to report flood losses via GEICO app, online or on the phone

HOUSTON, May 27, 2015 – GEICO's Catastrophe Response (CAT) adjusters have reported for duty throughout the region to begin assisting policyholders who have been affected by the recent torrential rains and flooding conditions in Texas and Oklahoma.

GEICO policyholders can log onto GEICO's Claim Center or call (800) 841-3000 to report a claim 24-hours a day. Consumers may also download the GEICO mobile app to receive weather alerts and report a claim in real time. Commercial vehicle policy holders can call (866) 509-9444 to report a claim at any time.

Bob Miller, GEICO's regional vice president of Texas operations, urges policyholders to report their claims immediately to expedite the process.

"Our CAT Teams will remain throughout the region until all claims are reported and resolved," says Miller. "Our policyholders are facing severe conditions and losses. Our adjusters are there to make the claims process as painless as possible and help restore some sense of security."

GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company), the second-largest auto insurer in the U.S., was founded in 1936 and insures more than 27 million vehicles.
