GEICO earns Ward Group's top financial rating 25 years in a row

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 29, 2015 – GEICO has been named to the Ward's 50 top performing insurance companies for the 25th consecutive year. The company is being recognized on the basis of its safe and consistent levels of surplus and premiums, net income, compound annual growth and profitability over a five-year average.

GEICO is also one of only three companies honored as a 25-year (1991-2015) recipient by the prestigious Ward Group.

To develop its annual list of the top 50 performing insurance companies, Ward Group analyzes the financial performance of nearly 3,000 property and casualty insurance companies domiciled in the U.S. and identifies the top performers.
