'The Wall That Heals' ending 2015 tour; 2016 donation campaign features special match

WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 7, 2015 – The Wall That Heals, a half-scale replica of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) and mobile Education Center, will make two more stops this year to round out its 2015 tour on November 10-14 in Nashville, Ga., and November 18-22 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.

The mobile exhibit is a program of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF), the nonprofit organization that built The Wall in D.C., and travels to more than 30 communities each year throughout the United States to spread The Wall's healing legacy. Hundreds of thousands visit The Wall That Heals each year including veterans, their family members, students and community members. They come to honor the more than 58,000 service members who sacrificed it all in Vietnam and learn more about the Vietnam War and era through VVMF's mobile Education Center.

GEICO has been a supporter of The Wall That Heals since 2008 and recently renewed and increased its sponsorship for 2016 by promising to double every gift VVMF receives by December 31—dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. Learn more about the match and make a donation here.
