GEICO opens new office in Alexandria for local customers

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20, 2016 – GEICO has opened a new local office in Alexandria at 4617 Duke St. in the Shoppes at Foxchase. Matthew McCarthy, a seasoned GEICO insurance professional, will lead a team of licensed agents at the location.

McCarthy and his staff, made up of agents Amelia Lord, Brandon Coleman, Jay Romero, Ahmed Abdelaziz and Karleen Carrillo, have a thorough understanding of GEICO's full product lines. Many of the agents gained extensive sales, service and claims experience after several assignments in GEICO's regional office in Fredericksburg. Along with auto policies, the team also can help with renters, homeowners, umbrella, boat, motorcycle, RV and more forms of insurance.

To better meet the needs of Alexandria's vibrant multicultural population, several members of the staff are bilingual in Spanish and Arabic.
