GEICO honors Lehigh Valley agent Dan Mensch as new field representative of the year
WHITEHALL, Pa., May 17, 2016 – GEICO has named Dan Mensch its 2015 new field representative of the year for his distinguished sales performance, team leadership and service to the community. Mensch's local office, located at 1952 MacArthur Rd. in Whitehall, opened in December, 2014 and has produced results on par with GEICO's seasoned sales leaders at local offices in similar sized markets.
"I was excited to have the opportunity to take over this local office and expand GEICO's presence in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono region," Mensch said. "Receiving this award is truly an honor, and this recognition wouldn't have been possible without our entire team's commitment to delivering outstanding customer service or the overwhelming support from the Lehigh Valley community."
Mensch's office has strong ties to the Lehigh Valley community with representatives spending time meeting new people at Iron Pigs and Phantoms games and local events, as well as through partnering with several charitable organizations. The office also stays active in the business community, and is a member of the Whitehall and Lehigh Valley chambers of commerce and the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association. Additionally, Mensch and his team support area military members through their involvement with the Allentown Honorary First Defenders.
Collectively, Mensch and his team, made up of insurance agents Nicole Filippides, Vanessa Garriga, Erica Mensch, Ed Schroeder, marketing director Nathan Shefter, and administrative assistant Ashley O'Rourke have an extensive insurance and customer service background. All six members live locally around the Lehigh Valley. The office also has a Spanish speaking agent who works closely with the area's vibrant Hispanic community.
Along with auto policies, Mensch and his staff can help with homeowners, renters, RV, boat, motorcycle, umbrella and more forms of insurance. Office members work to bring multi-line discounts to policyholders, as well as additional savings for those who are members of certain professional, educational, medical or alumni organizations.
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company), the second-largest auto insurer in the U.S., was founded in 1936 and insures more than 28 million vehicles.
