GEICO opens local office in Pearland to serve Gulf Coast residents
PEARLAND, Texas, Nov. 29, 2016 – GEICO has opened a new local office in Pearland, Texas at 2705 East Broadway Street to better serve Gulf Coast residents. Insurance professional Eric Mays will lead a team of five licensed agents at the new location.
"We are very excited to help enrich and protect the assets of families that reside in Texas' unique Gulf Coast community," Mays said. "In addition to auto, renters and homeowners insurance, we look forward to providing counsel on boating and recreational vehicle insurance needs as well."
Mays and his staff, made up of agents David Amaro, Angelica Thompson, Edgar Ruiz, Maryah Randler and Bridget Caletka, have a wide range of insurance industry experience. To better meet the needs of the Gulf Coast's vibrant multicultural population, some staff members are bilingual and can also speak Spanish.
GEICO agents in the Pearland local office look to bring savings to policyholders through multi-line and special association discounts, and to those who take an approved defensive driving course in the state of Texas. Additionally, members of certain alumni associations such as Texas A&M, TCU, Texas State and Texas Tech could qualify for an alumni discount.
Mays' team looks forward to taking an active role in the community by sponsoring local events in Brazoria County, Galveston County and Harris County, and participating in next year's Galveston Motorcycle Rally.
