GEICO booking appointments for child safety seat checks on September 23
WOODBURY, N.Y., Sept. 15, 2017 – GEICO has partnered with EAC Network for the second year in a row to offer child safety seat checks for local Long Island families on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The seat checks will take place in the drive-in claims area at GEICO's office at 750 Woodbury Road, Woodbury, N.Y.
Parents need to contact the EAC Network at 631-648-7100 x219 to book an appointment. Times are available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and each appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes.
"This event will help to bring Long Island parents some sense of peace about whether they've installed their child's car seat correctly," said Rick Hoagland, GEICO regional vice president. "Installing a car seat can often turn into a cumbersome task for parents depending on the make and model of their vehicle. It should help them a lot to have an extra experienced set of eyes check their work."
The seat checks coincide with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's National Child Passenger Safety Week.
