Dieng elected GEICO assistant VP of claims in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. , Aug. 13, 2019 – The GEICO Board of Directors has elected Sidy Dieng assistant vice president of claims for the company's regional operations in Tucson, Arizona.

Dieng started his GEICO career in 2003 as a sales agent at the Virginia Beach, Virginia, regional office. He made the Chairman's Club Gold Tier for exceptional sales in his first year. After moving to the claims division, Dieng held examiner roles in each department of the division. He was promoted to supervisor in 2008 and then to manager of claims service representatives in 2011.

Two years later, he was promoted to manager of the telephone claims adjuster division at the Tucson regional office. In 2014, he began managing Arizona bodily injury claims operations as well. Dieng was promoted to the region's liability director in 2016.

Dieng graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, with a bachelor's degree in finance.
