GEICO opens local office in Salem
SALEM, Ore., Aug. 7, 2020—GEICO has opened a new local office at 2825 Commercial Street SE, Suite 100 in Salem. Joel Lewis will lead a team of licensed agents at the new location.
Lewis's GEICO roots run deep, as he worked in the company's sales and claims operations in Georgia and Tennessee for 24 years prior to moving Salem to open his local office. Lewis and his staff members—Kelli Lewis, Autumn Grinstead, Cyndi Wiggins, Caryn Allen, Ivette Huezo and Jessica Singer—can help customers with car insurance, as well as coverage for motorcycles, homeowners, renters, condos, ATVs, RVs, umbrella, identity protection, commercial auto insurance and more.

Agents in the Salem local office are bilingual and ready to assist Spanish–speaking customers, as well.
"We're eager to work with residents in Oregon's capital city, and its surrounding communities, including the coast," Lewis said. "My office looks forward to building a long-term relationship with customers and showing them why GEICO is one of the best insurance options in Oregon."
GEICO agents in the Salem local office also look to bring savings to policyholders through multi-policy and special association and alumni discounts. For example, alumni from Oregon State University and University of Oregon may qualify for additional savings.
Military personnel stationed at Oregon National Guard Anderson Readiness Center also may qualify for one of GEICO's military discounts.
GEICO's Salem local office is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To accommodate walk-in visitors, all staff members wear masks and have their workstations spaced more than six feet apart.
