GEICO opens local office in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., Aug. 26, 2020—GEICO has opened a new local office at 1120 W State of Franklin Rd. #20 in Johnson City. Katie Robinson will lead a team of licensed agents at the new location.

Robinson's GEICO roots run deep, as she has worked for her father, Jim Robinson, at GEICO's Morgantown, W.V. local office for several years. Additionally, she has served as office manager of GEICO's Nashville local office prior to opening her own location.

Robinson and her staff members—Ryan Woodson, Michael Bier, Noah Snyder, Nichole West and Kristi Webber—can assist with car insurance coverage, as well as coverage for homeowners, renters, condos, motorcycles, identity theft protection, umbrella and more lines of insurance.

For those who like to spend time on the Watauga River, team members also can assist with coverage for boats and personal watercrafts.

Agents in the Johnson City local office are licensed to write insurance for customers in Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina so they can provide the highest level of service to customers living in the Tri-Cities area.

"Johnson City, and the entire Tri–Cities area is full of close–knit communities that value working directly with nearby small businesses," Robinson said. "My office looks forward to becoming the local face of GEICO in these communities and building long–term relationships with our customers so we can continue to assist them with their insurance needs well into the future."

GEICO agents in the Johnson City local office look to bring savings to policyholders through multi–policy and special association and alumni discounts.
