GEICO opens local office in Erie

ERIE, Pa., Oct. 6, 2020—GEICO has opened a new local office at 6839 Peach St., Suite 5 in Erie. Jake Krezmien will lead a team of licensed agents at the new location.

Krezmien has strong ties to GEICO, as he worked at the company's Buffalo, New York corporate office for nearly a decade in several sales management roles.

Krezmien and his staff members—Matthew Schwerk, Paul Karpik and Jovan McClatchey—can help customers purchase car insurance, as well as coverage for homeowners, renters, condos, RVs, motorcycles, umbrella, identity protection, jewelry, commercial auto insurance and more forms of coverage.

For those who enjoy spending time on Lake Erie, the Erie local office team also can help with insurance for boats of all sizes as well as personal watercrafts.

In addition to Pennsylvania, staff members are licensed to write insurance in both New York and Ohio and ready to assist customers living in towns on either side of the border.

"GEICO has competitive rates here in Erie County, as well as in northeast Ohio and the southern tier of New York," Krezmien said. "Our team looks forward to using our expertise to find the best coverage that fits each customer's individual needs, while also helping save them as much money as possible."

GEICO agents in the Erie local office also look to bring savings to policyholders through multi–policy and special association and alumni discounts. For example, alumni from Penn State, Pitt and University of Buffalo may qualify for additional savings.
