GEICO opens local office in West Springfield

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Feb. 24, 2021—GEICO has opened a new local office at 1010 Union Street in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Agency owner John Fosdick will lead a team of licensed agents at the new location.

Today, West Springfield Mayor William Reichelt joined Fosdick along with several other community and business leaders for a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of the GEICO local office.

Fosdick has extensive insurance leadership experience. Prior to opening the West Springfield local office, he spent five years working at the largest online insurance broker in the country. During his tenure as a manager, Fosdick directed the company in sales and customer service strategy and was responsible for hiring and training more than two hundred new agents.

Fosdick and his staff members will help customers purchase car insurance, as well as coverage for homeowners, renters, condos, RVs, motorcycles, boats, umbrella, identity protection, jewelry, commercial auto insurance and more.

The West Springfield local office has bilingual staff members and is proud to serve the Spanish–speaking community. Additionally, insurance agents are licensed to write policies in both Massachusetts and Connecticut and are available to assist customers from both states.
