GEICO opens local office in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., April 21, 2021 — GEICO has opened a new local office at 506 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, New York to serve Saratoga County, the Adirondacks, Plattsburgh and middle Vermont. Will Schrade will lead a team of licensed agents at the new location.

Schrade has strong familial ties to GEICO and insurance. In 2014, he helped his father, Rick, open the GEICO local office in Albany and served as the location's general manager. Schrade also has deep history with Saratoga Springs – his family moved to the area in the late 1800's. Schrade attended St. Lawrence University and Mass Maritime.

Schrade and his staff members — Lauren Bibby, Gregg Buckley, Steve Clements, Rebecca Fiato, Jessica Johnson and Steve Johnson — will help customers purchase car insurance and coverage for homeowners, renters, condos, RVs, motorcycles, boats, umbrella, identity protection, jewelry, commercial vehicles and more.

The Saratoga Springs local office also has staff members who are licensed to write insurance for Vermont and Florida customers in addition to New York.
