  2. RHONDA JONES-QUINBY says,

I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL..WHEN THE YOUNG GIRL SIPS OFF THE SPOON.THEN SHE GETS
CAT LIKE FEATURES OF A CAT..RIGHT DOWN TO SMOKE COMING OFF THE END OF HER WHISKERS..
THEN TONIGHT,THE NIGHT BEFORE HALLOWEEN , THE COMMERCIAL IS
    EXTENDED

  3. John says,

Who are the actresses in the first Griswalda commercial? I know I have seen the main actress somewhere before t(he one that doesn’t get turned into a cat).

  4. Gretel says,

Come on! Lighten up!!! There are many things in today’s world that should be truly frightening to our children … climate change, politics? … this is just plain fun! My daughter loves it.

  5. Kira says,

I just love this commercial!!!. I actually look forward to seeing it (looking forward to a commercial)?
    Such great actors!!

  6. Roger says,

I “LOVE” this commercial. It is cute and Griswalda is perfect for Halloween. I really like all the previous Geico commercials but Griswalda rocks lot of them. Would love to see a Griswalda Super Model photo shoot theme, or have her keep castIng spells on the gecko. Make her a regular…. I disagree with Phyllis, it isn’t evil or stupid, it is entertaining and is a fresh idea on pitching an insurance ad.

  7. Phyllis McCommon says,

This commercial is offensive and scares children there is nothing funny. I have appreciated humor in the past but this one is EVIL and STUPID.
Please considering pulling this one – it is in POOR TASTE.

    • Jennifer Bradt says,

I agree. I am just sick and tired of the overused and typical crazy cat lady stereotypes and this is exactly that. I dont think it is scary but it definitely gives kids the wrong impression about cats and people who own them. I agree. Pull this stupid commercial. Why does she not have dogs?? As I said before..overused stereotype.

      • Jackie says,

Well cats and witches go together, not dogs and witches. Listen I’m one of those ‘crazy cat ladies’, I own 4 & a dog, feed 2 stray cats that hang in my yard and will feed any animal that’s hungry and I love the commercial. Great graphics. My lady neighbor down the street is the one who told me that people around us call me the ‘cat lady’, cause I didn’t even know and I laughed and said it is true, I love cats. I’ll wear ‘the crazy cat lady’ badge and I’ll wear it proudly! Y’all need to not be so uptight. This commercial is nothing like you are describing. I do have to say though my all time favorite is the two squirrels giving high 5, oh wait!, they are in the street and you could assume they a going to cause a car accident and that’s demonic, evil, scary and stupid! We wouldn’t want people who see this commercial to get stressed out!

    • Jackie says,

Phyllis, there’s absolutely nothing demonic, evil, stupid or even scary about this commercial. It’s not in poor taste at all, come on we all know it’s done in fun. I doubt it’s scary for kids even ‘if’ that were true you could just explain to them it’s not real, just like we do when there’s something that really is fake and scary!
