I am paying for my niece’s car insurance each month (she lives with me). I was told when we first got the insurance that if she took an online Geico course, it would save $50 a month. Can you send me the website address for the course, please?
Thank you,
I think this is a wonderful quiz, it will give people more practice and experience when driving. however you should have different questions or different quiz to practice, it will help everyone become a better driver. It will help improve everyones experience.
THE QUIZ WAS VERY EDUCATING FOR OLD AND YOUNG DRIVERS IT REALLY WILL SHARPEN EVERYONES DRIVING SKILLS GREATB QUIZ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS HAVE A GREAT DAY THANKS.
I’m curious that the BAC for under 21 drivers is not .02%, as there are physical situations that create a minimal alcohol possibility, without drinking, such as certain yeasts and bacteria in one’s system. .00% is a “no leeway” position.
The question was misleading (a trick question) as (1) the issue is a question of state law, and thus varies from state to state, (2) the testing technology cannot accurately measure .00%, and (3) the standard for DUI is (in most states) .08% BAC. An under-21 driver could not be arrested for DUI for, say, .02% BAC, but could be charged with underage consumption of alcohol.
I completely agree. Some people can have as much as .08% alcohol in their system or even higher, all created by their own body. If a person is determined to have body alcohol content, it should be required that the state prove it was caused by drinking alcohol, and not because it has occurred due to some natural reason comma before a DUI can be applied to the individual involved. We don’t arrest people when they have a diabetic episode, which is very similar to drunk driving, and this is no different.
Wondering why car manufacturers are allowed to place Bluetooth & hands-free options in their vehicles, when they are so dangerous!… ‘Course, I know the answer is, because it helps sell the vehicle, but shouldn’t it be illegal??
You can use those devices when you are NOT driving. You as the driver need to be responsible when using those options available on your vehicle. Just because it’s there, doesn’t mean use it whenever you feel like it.
Bluetooth phone devices are no more distracting than talking to your passenger. If the insurance companies had their way, we would not be able to even turn on music.
Why? The number of accidents is miniscule relative to the number of drivers and total miles driven each year. Defensive driving is learned through real world experience, not some artificial accident anticipation course.
Me being a CDL driver knew the answers, but one. Very informative.
This is great for education and awareness !!!!
Thank you for providing this test. Very informative and useful.
I like the quiz. It was very educational for me.

I thought that was pretty over the top myself. But hey the make the rules and we have no choice but to follow them.
I thought the same thing… but, remember..it’s illegal to drink under the age of 21.

Everyone should be required to take a defensive driving class EVERY YEAR. THANKS GEICO!

I am very satisfied with my switch to Geico.
I saved a lot of money by switching my car insurance to Geico. I’m really happy about that!
Very good to improve our knowledge and experience.
