We heard from the car fairy, watched a hamburger bite the dust and saw a lot of love for whipped cream behind the wheel. These scenarios sound completely outrageous; however, they all raised awareness about a serious issue: distracted driving.
Young drivers from across the country submitted videos to GEICO via Twitter as part of GEICO’s Brake the Habit contest. Everybody used the hashtag #BrakeTheHabit in the hopes that friends and family members would think twice and put the brakes on driving distracted.
Videos were submitted to GEICO during a three month period, and seven finalists were selected to be featured in a national distracted driving compilation video, produced by GEICO and featured below:
For part two of the contest, our finalists received unique URL’s and shared the compilation video far and wide across all their social media. Our winner knocked it out of the park, racking up more than 100 unique clicks. Congratulations, Ben D. from Tenafly, NJ.
