Sticking with the Gecko

Geico makes everything easy for me! I can pay online, by phone, by mail or in person. I have checked my account online at all hours of the day and night. I prefer to order documents online and I can have them emailed, mailed or faxed to me. Once, when I was stopped on my way to work and couldn't find my insurance card, I called Geico on my cellphone. They told the nice police officer my policy info and that was one ticket I didn't get, and then she offered to email me a copy of it at my work email so I'd have one going home. (I still got a ticket for being out of registration, but I took care of that quickly and it was dismissed by the nice judge.) I can change my coverage online or by phone or in person. When my husband and I purchased a classic Airstream RV trailer, I was able to call in and add it to our policy before we hitched it up and took it home! The person who originally contacted me about Geico spent the time "I" needed - 45 minutes - answering my questions and working the numbers so that I had complete information to base my insurance decisions. I've never regretted it! Geico has always done exactly what they said they would do and then gone a smile further. When I had a collision, my car came out of their recommended repair shop actually better than before the collision. I could have chosen another repair service - no problem!- but I chose to go with their recommendation. I was kept informed of the status of my repair at all times and if I had a question, an answer was just a phone call away. Our policy had a rental car rider and that was handled at the same place and time as where my car was repaired. That was convenient! My husband and I don't own expensive model vehicles, so I know that the treatement we've received is just the way it is with Geico. Geico's business model could and should be copied by everyone in the insurance industry, but try as they might, the competition just can't beat Geico and we're sticking with the Gecko!

We had just bought an RV no more the a week before I clipped a pick up truck on my own street. I felt terrible and thought oh boy my rates will hit the roof and I might even get canceled. Low and behold so far none of this was true except the extraordinary service from Maggie in customer service who assured me all was OK and actually seemed to care about if I was OK or not. Thank you Geico you all are the greatest and a another compliment to the adjuster. My wife said he was great, understanding, knowledgeable and down right a great person. thank you all again from my wife and I who have been loyal customers for years. Mainly because of your service, rates etc. You are the greatest.
