Insurance Discounts for the Military

GEICO offers special discounts to service men and women. In addition, GEICO offers Emergency Deployment Discounts and insurance discounts to members of certain Military related organizations. To take advantage of any of these discounts call 1-800-MILITARY (645-4827).

Military Discount

If you are on active duty, retired from the Military, or a member of the National Guard or Reserves, you may be eligible for a discount of up to 15 percent on your total insurance premium.

Emergency Deployment Discount

GEICO offers Emergency Deployment Discounts to Military members when they deploy into imminent danger pay areas (these areas are designated by the Department of Defense (DOD) and approved by Congress).

You can receive the discount under the following conditions:

You have received orders to one of the DOD designated areas.
Your vehicle is stored under one of our approved storage protection plans.

Some geographic limitations apply in certain areas and some military operations are excluded (not available in all states).
