Rental Reimbursement

Optional coverage that helps pay for a rental car during covered repairs.

Rental Reimbursement could be added to your policy to help pay for the cost of a rental car if your vehicle is being repaired after a covered claim. This coverage helps you stay mobile while your car is in the shop.

Rental Reimbursement is subject to daily and per‑claim limits, which you choose when adding coverage. Coverage typically applies until your vehicle is repaired or until your coverage limit is reached. If your vehicle is declared a total loss, the amount of authorized rental time may be limited.

If you use a participating rental company, GEICO may be billed directly for the rental. Otherwise, you may need to pay upfront and be reimbursed up to your coverage limits.
