GEICO announces Arianna Orpello as Chief Marketing Officer

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 7, 2025—GEICO announced today that Arianna Orpello will be joining the company on Jan. 5, 2026, as its new Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to Chairman, President and CEO Todd Combs. Orpello will oversee all of GEICO’s marketing efforts.

Orpello joins GEICO from Goldman Sachs, where she most recently served as global chief brand officer. With more than 20 years of experience, she has spearheaded transformative brand and digital strategies across the complex and highly regulated financial services sector, including additional leadership roles at TD Bank, Capital One, and ING Direct.

Orpello earned an MBA and a bachelor's degree in business and advertising from West Virginia University. She has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree by numerous organizations, including Brand Innovators and the American Marketing Association.
