Insurance Agent Sylvia Hopkins

Get to know Sylvia Hopkins, the GEICO Insurance Agent in Annapolis.

Hello, I'm Sylvia Hopkins, and I have been a GEICO Insurance Agent in Annapolis, MD since 2006. I have worked in insurance for more than 18 years. Since I was two years old, my father insisted that I become an insurance agent. He is happy, and so am I because being a GEICO Insurance Agent is the most rewarding professional experience I could have ever imagined.

I sell auto, home, motorcycle, RV, life, Jet Ski, scooter, umbrella, and renters insurance policies to new customers all across Maryland. My office provides excellent customer service, and we can assist you in finding great insurance coverage and fantastic discounts for you and your family. We're also happy to help our large Navy population and boat owners' community with boat insurance, too.

We have full-time Spanish and Fante-speaking staff in the GEICO Annapolis office.

Sylvia's office is involved in the Annapolis community.

My office is very involved in the community. We attend Bowie Baysox, Naval Academy, Redskins, and DC United games. We also participate in charity walks such as the Cystic Fibrosis Walk and attend boat and auto festivals throughout the Annapolis area. Since my office opened, I have worked closely with Andrews Air Force Base, and I am now the title sponsor of the Top 3 Scholarship fund, which supports Servicemen and Women who want to continue their education.

I support many local schools and colleges, including Annapolis High School (Annapolis, MD), Gwynn Park High School (Brandywine, MD), Friendly High School (Fort Washington, MD), Thomas Stone High School (Waldorf, MD), Prince George's County Community College (Largo, MD), and Bowie State University (Bowie, MD). For several years, we have sponsored a food drive here in the office, which provides food for the local Annapolis Food Bank.
