For more than a century, Boys and Girls Clubs of America has served youth across the country, and Boys and Girls Clubs of Middlesex County’s Medford Clubhouse has been upholding that tradition in New York for many years.
This well-known organization provides a safe, fun, and educational environment where young people in the community can spend their afternoons. Instead of rushing home to play video games or watch television, children can get active, challenge themselves and build meaningful relationships. More than 220 youths participate in the club’s daily sports and recreation programs.
The organization welcomes donations that help bring valuable resources for the youth into the community. Visit the Boys and Girls Clubs of America website to learn more about how you can show your support.
GEICO and Good Sports recently teamed up to donate new equipment to support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middlesex County. “We’re delighted to be involved,” said Rick Hoagland, GEICO regional vice president. “We know that youth sports, fitness and recreation programming encourage healthy lifestyles and build social and leadership skills.”
