How do I make a payment online?

Online Payments: Pay your insurance bill using a check, debit or credit card. Simplify future payments by storing your account information online.

GEICO Express: Take care of your most common insurance transactions like paying your bill and requesting an ID card without having to remember your User ID and password.

The GEICO App: Make your payment using a debit or credit card right from your mobile device. Download the GEICO App and access your policy even when you're on the go.

What are the different ways I can make a payment?

Automatic Payments: Have your payments withdrawn automatically from your checking account*, debit or credit card. If your email address is on file, you will receive an email reminder prior to the payment being processed.

*If you pay your premium in installments, setting up automatic payments using your checking account can also save you money on installment fees.

Online Payments: Pay your insurance bill using a check, debit or credit card. Simplify future payments by storing your account information online.

GEICO Express: Take care of your most common insurance transactions like paying your bill and requesting an ID card without having to remember your User ID and password.

The GEICO App: Make your payment using a debit or credit card right from your mobile device. Download the GEICO App and access your policy even when you're on the go.

Phone Pay: Call (800) 932-8872 and use our automated system to pay your bill. Store your account information in our system to make your future payments easier.

Bill Payer Service: Pay your GEICO bill electronically through your bank's online bill pay service. If you like this option, and pay your premium in installments, consider enrolling in our Electronic Funds Transfer option to save money on installment fees.

Mail: Send your check or money order to us in the mail. Be sure to choose the appropriate address below to ensure the fastest processing. And don't forget - always include your policy number on your check or money order.

I am enrolled in Automatic Payments. Can I make a late payment?

You may have the ability to postpone your next scheduled payment.

Visit Automatic Payments. If eligible, the 'Postpone' option will be available for selection.

Postponement of your payment may not be available for one of the following reasons:

    • Your policy is paid in full.
    • You are not currently within 11 days of your due date.
    • You have already postponed your current scheduled payment.
    • We have already processed your current scheduled payment.

I am not enrolled in Automatic Payments. Can I make a late payment?

You can make a late payment if we have not cancelled your policy for non-payment. If your payment is not received by the scheduled due date, you will receive a cancellation notice with the final date we will accept a payment to keep your policy active.

Where can I view online claims forms?

Visit the Claim Center to find the forms you need to help process a claim, such as a medical release form, an accident description form, a vehicle fire questionnaire, and a vehicle theft questionnaire.

I recently had an accident. Where can I get information on repair shops?

To find a repair shop in your area, you can access your claim online. If you are eligible for online scheduling, you will be able to search for inspection and repair shops near you. If you are not eligible to schedule online, a Claims Service Representative can help you find a shop.

If you are using GEICO coverage for the vehicle damage, you should schedule an inspection with a GEICO Auto Damage Adjuster before any repairs begin.

How do I find my coverage and deductible for a claim?

Visit the Coverage Section to review your vehicle coverage. The type of incident will determine how your coverage or deductibles apply.

Is there a discount for being accident free?

Safe driving definitely has its rewards.

You may be eligible for a good driver discount as long as you have not had any accidents, or moving violations, that have resulted in a premium surcharge. View your current discounts to see if you are receiving a good driver discount.

Do you offer Accident Forgiveness?

You may be eligible for our Accident Forgiveness* benefit. Though not a traditional discount, with this benefit, we will waive the surcharge associated with the first at-fault accident caused by an eligible driver on your policy and you will maintain the good driver discount.

If you're currently a policyholder, and you qualify for Accident Forgiveness, it will be displayed in the benefits section of your policy.

It's easy to find the Defensive Driver discount eligibility requirements for your state* by visiting the Defensive Driver page.

What is Easy Estimate?

No repair shops. No waiting. No problem. Easy Estimate speeds up minor claims by letting you submit photos of your damage all from within the GEICO Mobile app. We'll guide you through three easy steps in about 20 minutes. First, you'll take a few photos showing us your damage. Don't worry, our camera guides will help with location. Next, you'll tag the photos and provide comments. Last, you'll submit the photos.

Accident Forgiveness applies to qualifying drivers who have been accident-free for five years or more. Accident Forgiveness applies only to your first accident. Subsequent occurrences do not qualify for Accident Forgiveness. Accident Forgiveness eligibility is determined by your specific policy type, as well as your state laws and regulations.
