Umbrella Insurance

I can't honestly say any good or bad comments as i have never had a claim. In theory, it's good for high income people or folks with valuable potential liabilities like property owners. The key question is always how fast and efficiently the insurance company pays out if a claim ever occurs. Also, the premiums seem to rise every year, so i don't know if they are competitive.

Disappointed

I moved from Virginia to Pennsylvania and had been carrying 2 million coverage. The cost was unreasonably high after my move so I had to cut down to 1 million. This was disappointing.

I actually never yet had to use this insurance, but would expect the usual great service I have been getting from GEICO for 25 years.

Coverage from auto insurance aready includes base of 300,000 dollars therefore the 1 million dollar coverage for the umbrella is really only 700,000 dollars. Also cost of umbrella is excessive.
