Additional Account Verification FAQs

GEICO requires a 2-Step Verification to access your policy on GEICO Mobile or on geico.com. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions related to this feature.

What is 2-Step Verification?

2-Step Verification is a second layer of security designed to protect your GEICO account and prevent unauthorized access to your account even if someone has access to your password. When you login on GEICO Mobile or on geico.com, you will be asked to provide additional verification through your mobile phone number or login email that will help ensure you are the only user accessing your account.

What phone numbers and/or email addresses will be available for me to send my verification code?

You may use a login email address or mobile phone number that is currently listed on your policy. You will be able to select your verification method each time you log in to GEICO Mobile or geico.com.
